GUIDE FOR DISPOSAL OF UNWANTED BOOKS (PDF)
Many libraries, and individuals, too!, have a dilemma.  They don’t need all the books they’ve collected over the years... but they hate to simply throw them away.  Here’s a guide listing recyclers, purchasers, and other options for disposing of books.

READING ON THE RISE
For the first time in more than 25 years, American adults are reading more literature, according to a new study by the National Endowment for the Arts. “Reading on the Rise” documents a definitive increase in rates and numbers of American adults who read literature, with the biggest increases among young adults, ages 18-24. This new growth reverses two decades of downward trends.

COLORADO LIBRARIES BLOG
The Colorado State Library and Colorado Library Consortium have created a place for librarians to come together to share news, innovations, events, photos, and ideas. Blogs need conversation, so we invite you to read, react and comment on anything about Colorado Libraries that interests you. When you share, we all learn. When you sign up, you’ll get email notices about news.
