Rural Library Enrichment Grants Report
The Rural Library Enrichment Program is designed to help small and rural libraries develop their resources and services. Thanks to the support of the Kenneth King Foundation, five libraries improved services and collections in 2011. Read the entire report here. (PDF) 

El día de los niños/ los libros (Children's Day/Book Day) Report 
This project used El día de los niños/los libros (Children's Day/Book Day), a national celebration on April 30, to encourage families to read and enjoy related activities as a way to enhance literacy as well as outreach to Latinos. Five libraries received grants to support their activities. Read of their success here. (PDF)

Statewide fundraising for libraries? Should Library People sponsor a statewide opportunity for libraries and their Friends groups to raise funds? Please complete the survey to let us know if this idea is feasible. This should take less than five minutes to complete. We will award two $50 stipends from those who enter, drawn randomly from applicants. Please complete the survey by Monday, February 20.
